Short summary: Fumi goes to dinner with Mitsuki and Suzu after dance practice, and it’s totally a circus act.
Fumi lets out a big sigh. It was supposed to just be practice between him and Mitsuki, but then Suzu barged in and Suzu also needed some tips on his dancing, so Fumi had alternated between the two and now the three of them are eating dinner at the cafeteria but the combination of Mitsuki and Suzu at the table is just…
“Su, don’t just eat everything off Mitsu’s plate. Yes, he’s a picky eater but he still needs to refuel after that dance practice.”
A disaster. Because Mitsuki had looked at the menu and chosen the meat option over the fish option but then proceeded to only eat some of the vegetables. While Suzu also got the meat option and proceeded to pick the meat that Mitsuki pushed to the side and eat that too.
“But it’s too much…”
“And I don’t want any food to go to waste!”
Fumi sighs once more. Yes he knows that Mitsuki doesn’t eat much, but that’s partially because he used to never do anything more than bare minimum for dance practice. But now that Mitsuki is taking dancing seriously…
“Do you want my efforts to go to waste? If you don’t properly take care of your body, Mitsu…”
Mitsuki lowers his eyes to his plate. “I’ll try.”
Oh, the way he quietly said that, laced with guilt… Fumi feels himself relent. They shouldn’t be moving food around like this but… Fumi will do it this time. Mitsuki worked hard after all. And Suzu probably is still hungry.
“Thankfully my fish meal also came with some tofu.” Fumi starts moving the pieces of tofu onto Mitsuki’s plate. “You can do that at least?”
Mitsuki nods. “Thanks, Fumi-san.”
“You should have some of Shirota-senpai’s meat then!” Suzu exclaims, moving pieces of meat onto Fumi’s plate. “You need to take care of yourself too, Fumi-san.”
“Hmm? Is my underclassmen telling me what to do?” Fumi teases as he picks up a piece of meat to put into his mouth. This has been such a circus act. Well, it’s good that he isn’t too picky of an eater. He’s probably not like Suzu, who could match the eating habits of the guys in Onyx, but he knows when to pack it in.
“I wouldn’t dare…” Suzu begins.
“Hmm?”
“…to know better than Fumi-san!”
Mitsuki shakes his head. “Shut up, Orimaki, and eat.”
“Ah! The meat!”
Well, they manage to finish dinner with everyone somewhat satisfied. Although Fumi suspects Suzu will probably be eating some snacks in his room, in general everything turned out fine. But next time he should have Kisa join them. Kisa could reign in these tendencies… probably, right?
