Being a boss is great and all when you have capable people working with you, like Bernando and Giulio and Luchino and Ivan… Who all have their own subordinates, who should all treat Gian and the other CR:5 with respect. But Gian has noticed that Ivan's crew is especially nice to him, so one day he decided to ask one of them, the one who often fetches hot dogs or whatever American food Ivan has a craving for.
The man had smiled. "The boss's friend is always welcome here."
Friend, huh. Gian supposes they still call each other "friends" but everyone probably knows what goes on behind closed doors is much more than that. Because Ivan has a big mouth and no ability to filter his words. But if Ivan's crew thinks well of Gian because of such relations, well…
When he sees Ivan next, Gian gives him a pat on the shoulder and whispers, "Thanks for thinking so highly of me."
Ivan tenses up and immediately shouts. "What?" His cheeks flush as he tries to protest. "I don't…you're just a…idiot."
Gian laughs. "You too. Idiot."
And if Ivan shrugs off Gian's hand in order to grab it and yank Gian inside their room, close the door shut and press Gian's back against said door… And mouths at Gian's jaw…
"Is this you saying 'you're welcome, Gian'?"
"Just shut up already…idiot!"
