When Mimi opens the door, she smells pie and suddenly remembers that this atelier in Arland is actually Rorona’s atelier that Totori merely borrows, but since Mimi goes there to see Totori, she forgot. But at least she finds Totori, who is holding a cherry pie?
“Mimi! I was just taking a break. Do you want some?”
“I, uh…”
Mimi had just wanted to see Totori but to take a break…
“You’re hungry, aren’t you?”
Mimi’s stomach growls and Mimi blushes. Even her body betrays her for Totori.
“Yes, but…”
Mimi is technically still on patrol. That’s why she had checked in. She is supposed to just ask how Totori is doing and figure out if there are any requests Totori might want to add to her list, even if Totori could pick up those requests herself. She should be telling this all to Totori but…
“Here you go.”
“Mm?”
Totori takes advantage of Mimi’s surprise to slip the fork into Mimi’s mouth. The taste of cherry pie is a mix of sweet and tart.
“Delicious, right?”
When Mimi nods, Totori smiles and Mimi gives up. Okay, she’ll take that break. She’ll make sure not to take too long, though…
