Karalau blinks. It’s early morning and Karalau is only awake because she wants to tidy her place before certain guests arrive. Meanwhile Touka often wakes up earlier due to her job as a maid. Of course those are fronts for their actual jobs of spying for a certain Princess…
Anyway, Touka must be anxious about the meeting later today. She’s not the best at keeping a low profile or a cool face. As the world’s Touka expert, Karalau already has an idea what Touka wants.
Still, she can’t help but tease. “What’s got you all fidgety, dear? Are you hungry?”
Touka blushes. “I am not… You know I’ve already eaten breakfast.”
Karalau laughs. “Dear, you could always eat more. I would never say more to having a little more of you to grab.”
Touka’s blush deepens. “Karalau!”
Karalau puts a hand on Touka’s shoulder. “Fine. What do you actually need? I’m all free right now.”
Touka steels herself. “Please fight me!”
Karalau snorts. “That’s all?” Was that so hard to ask? Oh wait, Karalau didn’t give Touka the time to ask before.
“Yes!”
Touka’s straightforwardness is so precious. This woman who can go toe to toe with Karalau’s strong and aggressive fighting style is actually the cutest. Of course Karalau will indulge her.
“Sure.” Karalau takes Touka’s hand and leads her outside. They’ll need a lot of privacy and space… “Just know I’ll be really hungry afterwards.”
“Karalau!”
Karalau grins. She’ll let Touka find out later what that means.
