Short summary: Tamaki's family asks why she is still single.
Tamaki doesn't make it home to see her family that often, but when she does, there are always lots of questions for her - about her well-being, her status, her future. Her older brothers are married and have kids, and while she is not so old to be considered unmarriageable, if she were to consider having kids born from her own body… At least that's the justification her family members give when they ask her directly "why are you single?"
Why is she single? Well, she has found her calling being a teacher and dorm mother at St. Angraecum Academy. She also…still has futile romantic attraction to other women. Like for her best friend Dalia. But Dalia took vows as a nun years ago. While Tamaki hasn't taken that step yet, she has considered… Because her feelings will never be returned, nor does she want to deny them, that she too could make an oath to stay celibate.
She hasn't said any of that to her family. She wishes to be firm in her resolve before telling them. Until then, she'll tolerate their blunt questions.
