Mayuri is avoiding her, avoiding them. Rikka acts like she isn't bothered, and maybe she isn't. Suoh can't read either of her Amitie right now. The two people she wishes to be closest with, the one she had been closest with is so far away, the one she had been less close with is trying to force closeness unnaturally. Suoh is torn, her heart hurts, and she doesn't know what to say. She doesn't know how to fix this.
"Why are you so distant?" Suoh would like to ask but she also doesn't feel like she has the right to do so. She wants to tell Mayuri she is going out with Rikka to protect Mayuri's secrets, that actually, if she had free choice she would choose Mayuri instead. Except one of Mayuri's secrets is that she is in love with Rikka. Which means Mayuri doesn't feel the same way about Suoh, right? Rikka knows the secret of Mayuri having been in love with women, but Suoh doesn't think Rikka knows about Mayuri's feelings for her, right? If they could just clarify things…but would even more feelings be hurt?
Could they all be okay with being in love with someone who does not feel the same way? Suoh isn't sure so she hesitates, and things only seem to get worse with each passing day…
