Short summary: Basically the title says all. 6 drabbles from Myura's POV.
1 – Zephon
This insufferable brat! Upon meeting him, Zephon had such a smug attitude that Myura immediately wanted to throttle him. He acted so self-centered, without any care in the world. Answering a simple question was always such a production. It was like pulling teeth! Even when he finally joined their group, it felt like it was a whim, because he was finally bored or something.
When she found out what his true purpose had been, well… He didn’t have to be such an ass about everything. If she could see him again, she’d shake him until all his masks slipped away…
2 – Ducas
One look at his goofy smile and Myura knows he’s trying to “lighten the atmosphere”. Sure, being overly serious is not good, but whenever he makes that face Myura just wants to throttle him. When they first met he could have easily taken them out, but he seemed to be…lazy? She didn’t understand how a man like that could command any level of respect.
Getting to know him better did make her respect him, just a bit. He was good with a spear at least.
His face though… Even though Myura knows it’s a front, she isn’t any less annoyed.
3 – Gino
Is there a day that Myura doesn’t want to throttle Gino? She loves him but sometimes he is such an idiot!
The worst thing was seeing him in that one awful timeline, when the Teras Pharma attacked Terube Village and he… and he… She wanted to shake him then, but knowing it wouldn’t change anything…
Thankfully in the final timeline she lives in, Gino is safe and sound. Well as much as he can be. His mouth is probably going to get him in trouble again, but she’ll be right there to rescue him like the big sister she is.
4 – Regius
Myura wouldn’t dare try to reach out and physically throttle Regius, because before she could get close he’d probably slice off her hands with his shuriken, but how she wishes she could shake him!
Him joining their cause was overall good, as her best friend was not a strategist, but some of the strategies this man did employ… The ends justified the means, in his eyes. He hid stuff from them deliberately, so her best friend would go along with his plans… Sometimes she wondered if he had a heart at all. She wanted to shake him and find out.
5 – her best friend
Her best friend was wonderful, really, but his heart of gold was a bit much.
It was perhaps unfair that Myura wanted to throttle him, but every time he took on a menial task instead of resting... There were other people in this group who could patrol, hunt, or go shopping for supplies.
However, he managed to convince her that this downtime was a form of stress relief, so she gave in. After all it was more important to support him than to mother him.
But now in the new world she won’t let him get away with this anymore!
Rather not - Nolbanos
This guy was the worst, but the reason Myura didn’t want to throttle him, even if there would be satisfaction in seeing his eyes roll around as she shook him, was because she didn’t want to get anywhere close to him ever again. One meeting was more than enough. He was lucky that he was 200 years in the past, because if he ever approached her again, with that lecherous look on his face, with his greasy hands and greasy hair, Myura would not stop herself from setting him on fire.
He really was lucky to be 200 years away.
