“Here.”
Yukihito tosses the first clean towel he sees behind him, assuming Akira will catch it. Then he proceeds to strip off his black T-shirt, soaked from the sudden rainstorm. He’s irritated. A 10% chance of rain is just enough to cover the asses of those weather forecasters, but it certainly ruined his and Akira’s plans for the afternoon. Thankfully they hadn’t actually entered the amusement park before the clouds decided to dump upon them. Being stuck out there in this weather would have truly ruined his mood.
As for Akira… Yukihito turns around only to see Akira standing still, towel on his head, hair half-dried, staring ahead. Staring at Yukihito’s half-naked body.
“Like what you see?” Yukihito smirks as he drops his wet T-shirt onto the floor and reaches out for the towel on Akira’s head. He pulls on it lightly, guiding Akira forward, closer. The blush on Akira’s cheeks is more obvious now. Yukihito can’t help but laugh.
“Shut up,” Akira grumbles. “It’s your fault.”
That their clothes got soaked? That Yukihito looks hot when shirtless? Or that he had grabbed Akira’s hand tightly, held it the whole time they ran back home? Yukihito doesn’t care which. He’ll take responsibility for it all. He tugs on the towel once more, bringing Akira’s face right up to his, Akira’s mouth right onto his own.
Yukihito doesn’t care how awkward the transition is, how bad Akira still is at initiating intimacy. It doesn’t matter when Akira kisses Yukihito back like he’s water for a man dying of thirst. The result, the fulfillment of mutual desire, is what Yukihito cares about. After all, the amusement park visit today was going to be, even if not explicitly stated, a date…
