Akira cocks his head. Not like the last time they journeyed together with Touya and his crew or as just two people? He supposes the question is rhetorical; of course this trip is different. There isn’t a rowdy crew squeezing their bodies together. There isn’t a dark, narrow tunnel forcing them to walk close together. This time there is quiet and open space and plenty of light, here at the beach at sunrise.
Yukihito laughs. “Guess I didn’t need to ask.”
Because the answer is obvious, when Akira grabs Yukihito’s hand and grips it firmly.
