Takeru mutters as he watches another couple declare their everlasting love in front of the tree.
Tasuku grins. "It's a sign of the peace we've brought to this land."
The couple then take turns slipping rings on fingers. Takeru frowns.
"But why these rings?" Why not something…bigger?
"Remember how I was confused by your daggers?" Tasuku chuckles. "I think exchanging rings makes things clear for both people."
"Rings are not functional, though."
"Hence no confusion."
Takeru sighs. "You make a good point."
But he still prefers the daggers…
