Short summary: Audrey puts sunscreen on Marion’s back for the first time.
“Can you put some on my back?”
“Sure.”
Audrey is not one to go to the beach but coming with Marion to see her family means going to the beach and enjoying the waves, at least according to Marion. Also it means wearing a swimsuit, which Audrey finds a bit embarrassing, so she’s stayed covered up with a blouse and skirt. Her girlfriend, however, is in a bikini and with all that skin exposed, needs it to be protected with sunscreen. And that is now Audrey’s job.
“Is this alright?” Audrey asks as she starts spreading the creamy lotion. It seems to melt into Marion’s skin, making it look a bit shiny. That means she put on enough?
“Yeah, feels good. You can put more if you want. It’s not like I need to get any darker.”
“Okay…” Audrey decides to pour some more cream out, mostly because she is enjoying rubbing lotion into Marion’s skin. The way that Marion reacts to her touch, the little movements she makes, the little sighs she lets out… It’s so charming.
“You aren’t done yet, Marion?” Simone’s voice breaks Audrey’s thoughts, making Audrey blush. She supposes she has been taking her time…
“Nope! Audrey is taking good care of me!”
“I see.”
Audrey’s blush deepens upon receiving Simone’s wink. Marion seems happy and proud of Audrey for being so “thorough” but she seems oblivious to what expression is on Audrey’s face, at least for now. Audrey decides not to test her luck and focuses on getting sunscreen over the rest of Marion’s back before standing up.
“There you go.” She snaps the cap of the bottle closed.
“Thanks!” Marion stands up and stretches. “Yep, all good!” She takes the bottle from Audrey. “Are you sure you don’t want to go swimming too?”
“I’m good for now.” Audrey settles into a beach chair and gives Marion a smile. Marion smiles back before running off. Audrey could read a book she has brought with her but decides that can be for later. For now Audrey will relax and enjoy seeing Marion and Simone have fun.
