Yes, even for Cassidy the forest is home. Of course this feeling first started with Elowen. How could it not have? When Cassidy was stripped of everything, Elowen gave things back. A reason to look forward to the next day, a reason to live with love and joy instead of anger and despair. Cassidy thanks her luck every day that she believed, before it was too late, in Elowen - in Elowen's love, in Elowen's truths.
Besides, while the human world changes, sometimes better, sometimes worse, the forest stays beautiful. Of course her love for Elowen might bias her judgment, but with someone so wonderful by her side eternally, is there any reason to think otherwise?
